Currently, Matchstick Goods employs a dedicated team of students from Common Good’s after-school program alongside program graduates. Together, they handcraft each piece from start to finish, ensuring quality and uniqueness in every ceramic creation. Our student artisans not only contribute to our diverse product line but also engage directly with customers and apply their ideas and perspectives to product designs, gaining valuable experience in entrepreneurship.
Together, we develop both hard and soft skills. Our studio serves as a safe space where students learn professional communication, teamwork, and resilience. Every interaction is guided by respect, accountability, and a commitment to nurturing a strong work ethic.
