Meet Brisa! We are convinced that she has the most expansive music knowledge of anyone her age. From 60’s R&B to early 2000’s pop, she knows it all! In addition to listening to music, Brisa loves to roller skate and draw in her free time. 

After she graduates, she wants to go to trade school to become a welder. Brisa is a Junior and has been working with Matchstick Goods since June 2022.

Faustin has never met someone he couldn’t befriend. Faustin’s warmth and character are such huge additions to our team. Faustin’s favorite product to make the tortilla warmer base, and it's also the first piece he ever made! 

Later in life, Faustin wants to go to medical school and become a surgeon. Faustin is a Junior and has been working with us since August of 2024.

Danny is consistently exposing us to amazing classical music while we hang out in the studio. He’s introduced us to the likes of composers Guiseppe Sinopoli and Gustave Holst. In addition to listening to music, Danny also creates it! He's a part of his school's marching band, pep band, and mariachi band. 

Danny is a Sophomore and has been working at Matchstick since the summer of 2024.

One of our favorite things about Juvalay is her sense of humor, and her willingness to explain Gen Z trends and culture to the “old” staff members. Outside of work, you can find Juvalay playing Roblox. 

After graduating, she wants to pursue a degree in marketing. Juvalay is a Senior, and has been working with Matchstick Goods since June 2023.

Lady might be the coolest person on our team. In her spare time, she practices tattooing or watches Korean dramas. Lady’s favorite thing about Matchstick is being able to be herself with her friends.

She has an Associate's from BCTC and has been working at Matchstick since May 2022.

Michele brings so many good things to our team. Among them are: an eye for detail, a drive to continue getting better, and a great sense of humor. Her favorite thing about MG is that she gets to craft pieces, which she finds calming. In her spare time, you can find her at home hanging out with her cat, Otis.

Michele is currently working towards a degree in Digital Media Design at UK. She's been working with Matchstick Goods since June 2021.

Blayne is our Studio Manager, and also the most likely target for the Student Employees to pick on! In his free time, Blayne likes climbing and hiking around the Red River Gorge. His favorite part of working at Matchstick is the calm environment.

Blayne holds a Bachelor's in Art in Design, and has been working with Matchstick since August of 2023.

Dan is our Director, and he believes strongly that everyone should have access to a loving community. His favorite thing about working at Matchstick is creating opportunities for students to thrive. When he’s not at work, you can find Dan at home, restoring an old truck. 

Dan has a Bachelor's in Music Business and an MBA in Nonprofit Leadership. He has been working at Matchstick since 2022.
